What Debut is

Debut is an iOS app that watches areas of a city you choose and notifies you about newly opened or soon-to-open places inside them. It is operated by Leonardo Cardoso, Berlin, Germany (see the imprint).

Subscriptions

• The free tier watches a limited number of areas with a periodic digest. Paid tiers (Pro, Premium) add capacity and live alerts; current limits and prices are shown in the app.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Deleting your data or the app does not cancel a subscription.

What we do not promise

Debut detects openings from public map and place data. That data is imperfect: places can appear late, with partial details, or occasionally not at all, and pre-opening dates are estimates. We do not promise a specific detection rate, refresh cadence, or completeness, and Debut is not a substitute for verifying a place before you go.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
• Don't resell or scrape Debut's data feeds. For programmatic access, see Enterprise.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Debut is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made on the basis of detection data. Mandatory statutory rights, including those of consumers in the EU, remain unaffected.

Termination

You can stop using Debut at any time; "Delete my data" in Settings removes your data from our server. We may suspend service for abuse of these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page updates. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

German law applies, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
